if this draft is so bad, why not trade from 9 to say 15 pick up an extra 3rd or 4th this year and another 2nd next year to give us some flexability next year? a lot of good teams do this all the time

Have third yesr players announced that they are entering the draft yet?
If they haven't then its premature to say that the draft is weak or has no.impact players |

You can't just wave a magic wand and trade back. Someone has to want to trade up. And who are these teams giving up that haul to move up 5 spots or so?

A lot have, but most people when talking about the draft are factoring in those potential underclassmen in the draft discussions.

Exactly, that was my point earlier. Its not like someone is going to give a 2nd and a 3rd to move up 5 spots.

we will take a TE like we always do when we are between TEs. Or a CB.

There's NO reason to delay the process. Start Geno
Smith.

We hold the 9th overall pick, not 8th. And as far as whom we'll select, since Ryan is staying I'll have to guess the best 34OLB/43DE available with an outside shot at an OL.

Get the best available OLB/OG in the first and second. After that, BAP. |
