Sanchez was cut the next morning."

Not defending the kid, but apparently he checked with his teammates before he did this and they were on board.

Ugh. I hate it when people rip on Holmes for that.

That injury has been described as literally feeling like your foot EXPLODED. Not stabbed. Not a shock.

EXPLODED.

None of us would have done ANY different.

Apparently, everyone here would have taken it like a warrior while reciting the Mel Gibson's speech from Braveheart.

Yep.

Had a somewhat similar injury when I was younger. Jumped out of the back of a pickup truck while holding something heavy and my ankle basically exploded. Ended up with a chipped bone in my ankle. Doctor thought he could repair it arthroscopically, but ended up having to do an arthrotomy.

Anyways, when it popped, it was over. Dropped what I was holding and was rolling around in pain. Had broken many bones before, but this one was the most painful break I had ever had.

Personally, I don't like Holmes a bit, but I definitely give him a pass on this one.

BTW: Looks like the vid isn't up any longer ?

Yeah, the article says he cleared it with some of his teammates.
