For anyone who mentioned Jackson Browne as a favorite, he's making a rare East coast appearance at Tanglewood on July 4. Tickets went on sale this week and are going pretty fast. I've never had a chance to see him before so I'm pretty psyched.

One of the under-appreciated groups from that era. I remember flipping out over TSAHB's "Vambo Marble Eye". One of the great vocal performances,
as well as standouts on wah-wah and in the chorus.

Noel Gallagher has always been one of my favorites. Wrote songs like Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger. Class tunes, good writer (imo).

From what I understand, Gallagher sends a weekly royalty check to the surviving Beatles.

Obviously, we know who has the songwriting gift in the family. Try as they might to copy the past glory created by Noel, it won't ever be Oasis.
