Taking snaps from each other. There is one QB coach, you can have one practice a day for no more than 2 1/2 hours. If you go to camp you realize that only about 1/3 of that time is allocated for the passing game. So you got 4 qbs splitting that 50 min of time with the qb coach. Each guy will be lucky if he gets 20 snaps. All this while the OC is installing a new offense with new terminology to 4 qbs none of which ever played in the WCO, Your welcome. Question is, how does this really benefit the Jets ? We already have a QB who sucks, so why do we need another ? It's not like Quinn is going to provide competition for Sanchez. Even if he does, it's replacing one lousy assed QB with another.
Hell, bring in Rex Grossman or Derek Andersen if you want to go that route. |

Sanchez worst statistical year: 54.3 completion percentage, 13TD/18INT, 6.4 Y/A, 66.9 QBR.
Quinn career: 53.8 completion percentage, 12TD/17INT, 5.5 Y/A, 64.4 QBR. I don't think it's the end of the world, but even if Quinn plays well enough to make it out of the preseason, a million bucks matters on the 2013 New York Jets. I'd honestly rather they go into week one with Sanchez/McElroy/Simms. If your depth chart is going to suck either way, save the cash. |

Before many of you jump off the cliff of despai..how about waiting till the end of the draft and see what the Jets do? I cannot see them not drafting a QB. Its amazing how many of you go nuts over some story lol. You act as though you are positive what the Jets will do in regards to all the QB's on the roster ans we are just going into march!!! Get a friggin grip already! |

Brady Quinn?
The Jets should sign Jason Campbell here. He backed up Cutler last year but he only signed a one year deal with Chicago. He consistently completes over 60% of his passes, is 6-5/230 (so no more batted down balls at the line), could be signed for the Vet Min, and would easily beat out Sanchez in camp. Really, I mean, BRADY QUINN??? |

For Christ's sake my point was that it would cost us nothing to look at him in training camp. He may not last a week, but if we bring him in it would be because Marty saw something. I'm not sure you can make a judgment on him. I don't think he's any good either, but I have been wrong before. He has more of a chance of becoming good than Tebow, or McElroy. I'd say bring in as many guys with the physical ability as you can. No you don't have a lot of time, so you would have to make quick judgments.
