Not exactly. We still have a very favorable schedule after the bye.

While this is true, it wouldn't put the final nail in the coffin. Hell, we're not even IN the coffin at this point.

If we lose today, we'd most likely have to go on a 7-1 run to have a real chance at the wildcard.

I just don't think this team has that in them.

Losing this one would hurt for sure. Kinda like one of those season crippling losses where the team just never fully recovers. Definitely don't wanna head into the bye with a loss to a division opponent, let alone a hated rival like the dolphags.

3-5 or 4-4 seems like such a big difference.

3-5 kind of seems like there will be no shot at the postseason. I dont like that feeling, and will be forced to vent SOJF style.

I dunno, the AFC is weak as hell this year. 9-7, 10-6 could be enough for a wildcard. I see wins against the Rams, Cards, Jags, Titans, Chargers, and Bills. That would put us at 9-7. Considering we nearly beat NE, I don't think a win against them at Metlife is out of the question. And SEA? They have good D, but their O is ATROCIOUS. Those two are swing games.

I'm not saying it's likely, but it's still very possible to go 9-7 or 10-6. The sun hasn't set just yet.
