Bye Week Gameday Thread

Glad to have a little distraction from thinking about the storm. My entire family was very fortunate just to lose our electricity for a couple of days. Now I get to go back to complaining about meaningless things.

Tired of watching these teams pass the ball with such ease.

Why do we make it look so hard?

So true. And Rich is a Jets fan.

@richeisen: Don't want to rub it in to Jets fans on their bye, but Luck/Indy is handling the Miami D in a manner Sanchez/NYJ could not last week.

When did James Jones get hands? That was a great play.

Luck and Tannehill are both looking exceptional in the first half.

That Rodgers guy is pretty good. Jennings out, Nelson out, Cobb gets hurt, none of it matters. 3 TDs passing in the first half and about 40 yards running the ball. Football is not hard for him

Luck just made a great pass that was dropped by Hilton for a TD.

All these young QBs look poised beyond their years. I just hope Tannehill doesn't replace Brady who replaced Marino/Kelly as HoF QBs that have bedeviled us for the past 30 years.

Luck did not look good against us, that's for sure.

Speaking of Marino and Kelly...

Why do people hate on Ken O'Brien so much?

Because its his fault the Jets FO drafted him over Marino. Typical dumb fans.

If Marino had won a few Super Bowls, then I could understand it. But he only went to 1 Super Bowl in his career.

O'Brien and Marino have the same amount of Super Bowl wins.

Marino is in the HOF. Kenny isn't.

Luck was inaccurate against us. He missed some wide open receivers.

O'Brien was before my time so I can't comment on him other than that he was a Jet which means he had no chance.

Yes. So? Would the Jets rather have a HOF'er or a championship.

All I'm saying is that Ken O'Brien should not be considered a bust.

Manning looks sharp. Amazing when you consider many people questioned if he could ever play again, let alone a a high level.

And a few minutes after you say this, he gets picked off in the endzone

LOL. Cards have a worse offense than us. I am betting the house on the Under.

BTW, I jinxed Manning. Just threw a RZ pick, even though it was b.c Decker ran a terrible route.

He threw 2 of those TDs to Cobb. Not sure I get your reasoning.

Obviously QB stats arent indicative of team performance, but Luck has some impressive #'s going into the second half. At last check:

21/34 309 and 1 td
