Any chance Hasselbeck would be available

Just a thought, do you guys think Hasselbeck would be available from Tennessee? I would take Hasselbeck over Vick, Fitz, Moore, or Campbell. And certainly over Sanchez. I'm sure there would be salary cap ramifications but Hasselbeck for a year or two, draft a Bray or Nassib to groom. I think it might work out.

He's finished... Better off just staying with Sanchez.

There are very few guys who are worth going with over Sanchez....

I would consider doing something like sign Matt Moore from Miami as the backup (who also knows Sparano's system well) and draft someone. Prefferably Glennon, EJ Manuel, or Nassib.

I could also be convinced to trade for someone like Matt Flynn.

That's as good as it gets though.. The rest just aren't worth even bothering with.

No!! Enough with the has-beens. Sanchez gets one more year due to the cap implications. He performs or he's a goner. In the meantime, begin looking to draft a QB. With a new offensive coaches, philosophy, and TALENT, hopefully we can begin to develop a QB. I hate saying this but any chance we had to develop Sanchez may have passed us by. I hope I am wrong.....

Ugghhh. Like it or not Sanchez is going to be the Jets started in 2013. Surround him with A LOT of weapons and he might succeed a bit.

Don't know what to say anymore, this is the reality.

Sanchez is not going to be the starter guys... Rex made that pretty clear when he benched him for Mcelroy. Sanchez will be on the team because of the contract, but he absolutely will not be starting.

Remember, Sanchez only started one year in college.

I just hate Sanchez so much.... He is terrible.. and Hasselbeck looked good when he played. I think he has a year or two left.

And the SOJF idiots on this board want to get rid of him after what is basically his rookie year.

Not sure that is correct. IIRC, a veteran will be brought in to compete for the starter's position. Sanchez will be in the mix mainly due to our cap. Not a great position to be in, but it is what it is.....

Sanchez will not be the starter next year. Matt Moore will be brought in to stabalize the position for a year while we groom a qb we will take in the draft.

There's just no chance...

Rex's job is even in trouble. There's no way he goes with him again based on his own livelyhood. He already made the change to McElroy and there's just zero chance Sanchez is the starter outside of someone else being signed/drafted and getting injured.

Correct... Or at least someone like Matt Moore. It just makes the most sense.

That is because he did not beat the other QBs out for the position!

He's way too old- I'd take Moore or Campbell over him.

Sanchez over Garrard, Even SAR would not go for that.

And how much is Matt Moore going to cost? What about him throwing to Fitzgerald? Or going to KC. he is going to get a lot of offers.
