Well I'm first going to acknowledge the work that went into this. I don't think people appreciate the cognitive BTUs that are spend developing these.

Jordan - dislike the pick. If we're trading Revis and Milliner's on the board, then that has to be the pick. Other than that, it's not a bad draft. It's just not my draft. Eifert definitely needs to be in green and white in the way things broke down in there.

I know you love your TE's Paradis, we've gone over this for years. I disagree, however. Not a fan of this TE class besides Kelce/Escobar.

- And basically swapping Milliner for Revis is a really bad idea. Milliner isn't half the player Revis is. I'm really not a fan of his to be honest. We also have much bigger holes, than to draft another corner in the 1st round. Milliner is a Winfield type player. Certainly solid, but we have a huge hole for the pass rusher, and limited cap space.

- Also, I appreciate it. What sucks is that the first time I posted this, I got auto logged off for not making the post for 3 hours, so when I finished, it made me re-log in, and in effect I lost my entire mock. I have a 7 rounder cooking, need more time to dig deeper into film, though.

If you remember the year that we drafted Sanchez, there was this guy Brandon Pettigrew... *cough cough to your left*. Now I remember people going off - "Who needs 2 TEs?? that's retarded" ...next year. Gronk-Herny duo was born.

Just saying.

Haha, but to be fair, Pettigrew hasn't really panned out. His hands are a huge problem. I see this guy drop a ball every game, and he hasn't become the elite TE most expected. Also, he gained quite a few pounds.

Escobar and Kelce are the TE's to watch in this draft.

I like Escobar.

And to be more fair, Petti's upside was always supposed to be his ability to block and catch, freeing up Keller to be the move-man. And I don't think that's a fair assessment of Petti's hands. He makes more clutch catches than he doesn't. ...I'm not sure we can evaluate a whole lot from what's going on in DET. All we know is that Calvin's not human.

I can name a few times Petti has missed HUGE catches. Last year, was it the Bears game that he dropped a key 3rd or 4th down, and cost them the game? One of the Turkey Bowl games, this year or last year, he had a huge drop, and there was another game 2 years ago that he cost them the game on 4th and 2. Clutch? I'm not so sure. And Petti as a 1st round pick really hasn't gotten the value many of us expected out of him, including myself.

Nice job. That is not a bad trade scenario with the Bucs.

I would have a few things different but that is just a matter of opinion.

Wait we trade Revis then dont draft Dee Milliner at 9 who many are saying is a top 5 pick? I honestly doubt Milliner falls out of the top 5. Mathis 33 and Cox are both FAs and it feels like they have taken DL early in every resent draft I can remember. Oakland well they have no one back there. But they have nothing anywhere. Philly needs 4 new DB and Detroit would need a DB even if they weren't all FA. He'd be a perfect fit for Cleveland who is loosing Brown. If he fell past those teams and we trade Revis we'd be pretty nuts to pass IMO. He is one of the few guys here worth a top ten pick.

The entire point of trading Revis to rebuild on the run. He's our $100 chip. You don't trade Revis for the 13th pick, and use it for another Corner who probably won't be a Revis. We have a top 5-10 Corner in the NFL as of now. Also, Berry will be solid, now that he nows the playbook, and Wilson was decent as a #2 Corner last year. Also, drafting McFadden gives us another corner as depth.

If we draft Milliner, I will flip out. We have much bigger needs than a #2 corner.

Also, comparing recent corners: (Coming out of draft, not now.)

1. Peterson
2. Claiborne
3. Haden
4. Milliner
5. Gilmore

Cleaned it up a bit. Watched some more tape. Arthur Brown is a first round pick, Eric Reid is the 2nd best Safety in the class. Warmack is a lot safer choice for the Cardinals.

Not for nothing but I'd sign up for that draft right now. Loved Geno with the second pick, I wasn't sure about the WR in round 2 but all in all I liked it.

For the pats assuming Talib, Welker and Volmer resign

1.Margus Hunt- Swing for the fences pick, I can see him playing at 290 and moving around on the line.
2. Dallas Thomas- since we may lose Donald Thomas, we save on laundry.
3. Justin Hunter- top value at the end of the 3rd. I had to keep looking to see if he was picked. He will be 2 years removed from his ACL and is just what the pats need a tall fast downfield threat.

Great job on a 3 rounder.

not a bad trade? getting a 1st and a 2nd for a guy that can't even work out by the time the draft happens. What do you consider a good trade for the jets?
And I am serious, no trolling I want your opinion.

Completely agree with you on Hunt. I was debating with the Pats and 9'ers with whom would go after him. With the fear of losing Welker/Lloyd, I went with the '9ers. Both can use him in the same way. Swing for the fences. Have him come on the line, and cause havac. Stand up on pass rushing downs. However, I felt that drafting Jones last year kinda nullified this thought.

Great job k. I'd never have the patience to sit down and do a 3 round mock.

How about Jarvis Jones at 13 and Tyler Bray with the 3rd rounder.

Jordan
Jones
Patton
Bernard
Bray

Also, why trade my boy Powell?

Ninkovich is a solid player but nothing spectacular and he is entering his last year before FA. He gets stoned too often by athletic RT

I think the Lloyd thing is a total media Crapola, If they lose either I think it will be addressed in FA. not bye a Bowe, Jennings, or Wallace but by a lower value guy.

I think Safety will be McCourty and Tavon Wilson

Excuse me for chiming in ... Agree with you on the 1&2 being very good for what we can realistically expect to get. I disagree with those like yourself though that see the acl as being a major problem with what compensation we'll get back ... Revis's will be the #1 db again easy in 4-6 months ... The drawback to him will be his contract demands that will limit our compensation we will be offered

Interesting that you have mingo going 2 ... Believe most "experts" are putting him a little bit further down ... I assume you think he's the top of the DE/OLB prospects
