The Falcons interest is good for multiple reasons; it will drive up the offers because there is competition. And Atlanta has shown to be very aggressive with trades and draft picks. They are also clearly in a win-now mode and has cleared cap room. Revis will want to go to a team that can win now-as long as they pay him every dime he can get.

The one negative is if the Jets stupidly settle for draft picks from this draft only, they are looking at a first round pick which is essentially in the second round (pick #30).

The funny part of all of this is that fans of other teams feel the same way as Jet fans.
No CB is worth 16 million, NONE.
Read the threads from teams supposedly interested & the responses are vary from eff that selfish bastard, to, "yea, he would be awesome at 10 million".

It is absolutely amazing how this guy in each of his hold outs claimed, "It's just business".
But now he's firing back at the very team that redid 2 contracts, had to deal with his holdout as a ROOKIE, and even gave him an out in 2014 without being able to franchise him.
He is one selfish SOB, & I could care less about him.
He's not gonna win the Jets a Superbowl.

When we took them to overtime in week 7 and lost 29-26 was Revis a help?? When we lost 45-3 in 2010 was he a factor?? Revis playing CB is a great luxury to have if you have other pieces in place but we don't.. AP is a great player for the Vikes and scores double digit td's does that great player get them in the Bowl every year?? They only got close when that had great play from what position?? Oh yeah the QB position..

Other great CB's also did many other things.. Deion had over 20 td's and 53 picks.. For a pure cover guy Revis is one of the best of all time if not the best.
