The New York Jets made yet another roster move Tuesday, signing WR Britt Davis to the practice squad.

Davis, a 6-foot-3 receiver out of Northern Illinois originally signed with the Jets as a rookie free agent on May 1, 2009 and was waived on Sept. 5.

Davis caught the eye of head coach Rex Ryan during training camp, working well with QB Mark Sanchez and the second-unit. During the preseason, Davis caught five receptions for 54 yards. At Northern Illinois, he finished his career fifth on the NIU all-time charts for career catches with 146 and totaled 1,676 receiving yards, 2,063 all-purpose yards and nine career touchdowns.
