Matt Miller of Bleacher Report revealed on his weekly podcast earlier today that his sources have told him that prize free agent QB Kirk Cousins has narrowed his choice down two teams he’d consider signing with.

Those teams are the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets. Miller thinks the Jets have the edge over the Vikings despite Minnesota having an obvious big advantage in talent over New York. The reason? Money and cap flexibility.

The Jets currently have nearly $95MM in cap space going into free agency opposed to around $50MM by the Vikings and that gives them much more flexibility in creating an attractive deal for Cousins.

Miller’s story comes after ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported over the weekend that four teams were still in the  Cousins sweepstakes… the Jets, Arizona, Minnesota and Denver.
