Our People

Christopher Nimbley, Publisher and Editor in Chief

Chris was born and raised, mostly, in Northern New Jersey surrounded by Giants fans with just a few Jets fans sprinkled around him. He has loved sports since his tee-ball – kick the can and manhunt days. As a kid and young adult Chris spent the overwhelming majority of his time playing sports, whether organized team sports or backyard football with his friends. Once Chris’ athletic ability plateaued he slowly moved from playing sports to becoming a spectator and a fan of sports.

After graduating with an Associates degree from Dean University in Massachusetts, Chris went on to work as an architect for five years. After years of doing the same thing he found himself stuck in a rut and bored with work, it seemed like all he did at work was read articles online about sports, then one day it hit him. Chris loves to write, loves sports (but loves football most of all) and he realized he could use his sarcastic wit to go along with his love and knowledge of the game to do what he truly enjoys. To write and to watch, absorb and analyze football. So he quit his job as an architect and went back to college to study communications with a minor in journalism at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.

Entering his tenth season with JetsInsider.com, Chris started as a staff writer in 2009 and has since moved up the ranks to his current position as Editor in Chief. He oversees all the daily content on the site and also continues to report and cover the team.

Chris is single and still lives in northern NJ, not too far from the Jets facility.
