FAQs

How often is this stats page updated?

Every Tuesday morning ET, after the previous week’s games. The refresh pulls schedule and scoreboard data from ESPN and team/league statistical data from Pro Football Reference.

Where does the data come from?

ESPN provides scores and game results; Pro Football Reference provides standings, team rankings, individual player stats, and league leaderboards. Sources are noted in the footer of each table when the refresh runs successfully.

What does “NFL rank” mean?

It’s the ranking out of 32 NFL teams in the category shown. Rank 1 is best (most yards, most points, fewest yards allowed, etc.); rank 32 is worst.

How are division standings tiebreakers determined?

Head-to-head record first, then division record, then common-games record, then conference record, then strength of victory, then strength of schedule. The full tiebreaker list is on the NFL operations site.
