Filling A Void: How Carl Lawson May Be The Jets’ Long-Awaited Answer at Edge-Rusher

As I wrote in my first article for JetsInsider.com last week, the Jets’ defensive line has set the tone up to this point at training camp. Setting the Tempo: The Jets Defensive Line is Creating a Menacing Presence

While the rookie combination of Zach Wilson and Elijah Moore are turning heads, the most impressive aspect of the Jets’s training camp so far may be the team’s defensive front. Despite the talent of an offensive line with Mekhi Becton, Alijah Vera-Tucker, and Morgan Moses, the defense has still been able to apply pressure and…

No Need to Overthink This, Sign Le’Veon Bell

There’s exceptions to every rule. In this case the rule is, don’t spend big money on running backs. It’s a good rule, scratch that it’s a wonderful rule and should be followed closely unless you can make a perfectly logical case for why in a certain, specific situation an exception should be made. Going into…

Florham Park, NJ – Two weeks remain in the 2018 NFL season and normally at this point, the Jets are playing meaningless games. Folorunso Fatukasi: Size, Strength, and a Non-Stop Motor

FLORHAM PARK, NJ – If defense truly does win championships, it all starts with the defensive line. The Jets may be a year or two away from being a contender, but they are starting to get the right pieces in place. The New York Jets may have found a day-three gem on the defensive line that…

New Brunswick, NJ – The first J! E! T! S! chants were boisterous and hopeful out of High Point Solution Stadiums Saturday night as the boys suited up for their annual scrimmage. Jets Positional Preview: Defensive Line

With the release of Muhammed Wilkerson, the New York Jets will have a difficult time improving their pass rushing defense that finished 28th in the league in 2017. Three years ago, the Jets had one of the most powerful defensive lines with Sheldon Richardson, Muhammed Wilkerson, Leonard Williams, and Damon Harrison. New York’s pass rush defense…

GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the sea GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the season, nothing has gone right for the Jets this year. Losing their starting quarterback to mono has grabbed most of the attention but even when Sam Darnold returns there will still be a glaring problem making his life harder. That problem is this offensive line has been a disaster. On defense the Jets have some issues at cornerback and obviously miss the presence of C.J. Mosley, but the defense has mostly help up. Losing Quincy Enunwa and dealing with Chris Herndon’s suspension (he will be available to return after the Eagles game) has left the backup quarterbacks with Robby Anderson, Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios as the receiving options. But by far the biggest problem has been the play of the offensive line. Read more of Chris Nimbley’s article on www.jetsinsider.com Photo by @manishgosalia #nyjets #newyorkjets
