No, Trevor Lawrence shouldn’t go back to school to avoid the Jets…you dummies

There’s usually just one silver lining to being a terrible team in the NFL: the worst team in the league gets to draft the best player in college football. This year is no different; the only thing keeping Jets fans from hurtling down a pit of despair is the hope that they will lose every…

Watered-Down AFC Keeping Jets Alive

Was Michael Corleone a New York Jets fan? He very well could have been. His classic line in The Godfather: Part III more or less describes what every Jets fan is feeling on Monday, November 20, 2017. “Just when I thought I was out… they pull me back in.” Surely the Jets were figuratively eliminated from…

Jets replace Harris- Sign ex-Giant, Dolphin Spencer

It didn’t take long for Gang Green to add depth to the linebacker position. Two days after the release of longtime linebacker, David Harris, the Jets announced the signing of linebacker Spencer Paysinger. Paysinger is going into his seventh year in the NFL. He was an undrafted free agent out of Oregon and was signed by…

Geno A Giant

Various sources are reporting that former Jets QB Geno Smith is about to sign with the Giants and will backup Eli Manning. ESPN’s Adam Schefter posted this earlier today on Twitter: Giants expected to sign former Jets QB Geno Smith, per @JordanRaanan and me. By the Way: It should not be called the Subway Series Bowl

If the Jets do play in the Giants in this year’s Super Bowl, the appropriate title should be the New Jersey Bowl. The “We Should Tank The Season And That’s Okay” Blog

What are the 3 things New York Jets fans want the most? 1. An established, confident, winning head coach. 2. A quarterback. 3. Affordable PSL’s. Tank the season, pay a Johnson’s ransom for Bill Cowher, get the #1 pick in the draft and take the best QB out there. Look, we’re not making the playoffs…

Chad Pennington Won’t Be The Jets Opening Day Starter

And there you have it. Short and sweet. No way. 1. No way Eric Mangini puts his tenuous career in the rubber arms and marshmallow hands again. 2. No way Mike Tannenbaum puts his tenuous career on the line with a guy who couldn’t lead a decent drive in the first 5 games of last…

“Jets Night” at Shea Stadium Disappoints – You’re Surprised?

As it enters its last few months, let’s not get too misty eyed over Shea, shall we? Loyal Jets fans believe that the Jets are second-class citizens in Giants Stadium, right? Believe that we are oppressed, playing in someone else’s stadium, right? Horrified at the red and blue seats, right? Trying to remember back to…

GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the sea GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the season, nothing has gone right for the Jets this year. Losing their starting quarterback to mono has grabbed most of the attention but even when Sam Darnold returns there will still be a glaring problem making his life harder. That problem is this offensive line has been a disaster. On defense the Jets have some issues at cornerback and obviously miss the presence of C.J. Mosley, but the defense has mostly help up. Losing Quincy Enunwa and dealing with Chris Herndon’s suspension (he will be available to return after the Eagles game) has left the backup quarterbacks with Robby Anderson, Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios as the receiving options. But by far the biggest problem has been the play of the offensive line. Read more of Chris Nimbley’s article on www.jetsinsider.com Photo by @manishgosalia #nyjets #newyorkjets
