Jets Free Agency Blueprint

We are now just a couple of weeks away from the start of free agency. The Jets have plenty of money to spend and needs to be meet with said money. With Robert Saleh taking over as head coach, and Mike LaFleur running the offense, both defensive and offensive systems will change. This means current…

Jets and Quinnen Williams Agree to Deal

Florham Park, NJ – The New York Jets have officially signed their first-round draft pick. Quinnen Williams has finalized his contract with the Jets and will be on the field for tomorrow’s practice. The standoff turned into handshakes and now a very rich young man can focus solely on football. The Jets were trying to get Williams…

Jets Drop Season Finale To Patriots, Finish 4-12 On The Year

Poor redzone play combined with inept play from the defense forces the Jets to fall for the second time this season against the Patriots, losing 38-3 and finishing their season at 4-12. Bill Belichick has never allowed a rookie quarterback to beat him in Foxboro since he took the gig with the Patriots. That did…

How to Spend $100 Million Dollars for Sam Darnold

The Jets have a bright future if they play their cards right this offseason. The good thing is, the Jets have about $100 million cards as of right now, and a very high draft pick. I ran a free agency simulator to see just what the Jets can do this offseason. First, then I would…

East Rutherford, NJ – Jets fans… We have good news and bad news. The bad news is the Jets lost to the Houston Texans. The good news is despite the loss, the team played fairly well, Sam Darnold looked like an all-star and the Jets are closer to a better first-round pick. The Texans had…

Victory Monday: Darnold Mounts Comeback

The New York Jets broke their six-game losing streak with a comeback victory over the Buffalo Bills thanks to the play of Sam Darnold. It’s understandable that some Jets fans would be disappointed that the win took them from having the inside track on the number one or number two pick in the draft, but…

Jets Edge Bills 27-23 In Meaningless Classic

Orchard Park, NY – The Jets won a thriller on Sunday in western New York, where frigid temperatures and a re-injuring of his sprained foot failed to keep Sam Darnold from getting the win. He showed a lot of chutzpah on the game winning drive, throwing for 51 of the 66 yards gained on the drive…

All I Want For Christmas

Florham Park, NJ – The Holiday season is upon us Jets fans. Unfortunately at this festive time of year, the New York Jets hold a 3-8 record, sit at the bottom of the AFC East and are on the verge of elimination. Looks like a Blue Christmas! The problem with the Jets is that they…

GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the sea GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the season, nothing has gone right for the Jets this year. Losing their starting quarterback to mono has grabbed most of the attention but even when Sam Darnold returns there will still be a glaring problem making his life harder. That problem is this offensive line has been a disaster. On defense the Jets have some issues at cornerback and obviously miss the presence of C.J. Mosley, but the defense has mostly help up. Losing Quincy Enunwa and dealing with Chris Herndon’s suspension (he will be available to return after the Eagles game) has left the backup quarterbacks with Robby Anderson, Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios as the receiving options. But by far the biggest problem has been the play of the offensive line. Read more of Chris Nimbley’s article on www.jetsinsider.com Photo by @manishgosalia #nyjets #newyorkjets
