Jets Hire Dowell Loggains as Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach

The New York Jets have hired Dowell Loggains to be their new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach under his good friend Adam Gase. Loggains was the offensive coordinator with Gase in Miami and was also the quarterbacks coach in Chicago in 2015 when Gase was the offensive coordinator (which the pair are often credited for coaching…

Looking for the Bright Side of the Adam Gase Hiring

I don’t believe the Jets made the correct decision by hiring Adam Gase, luckily for Jets fans my opinion means absolutely nothing when it comes to whether or not Gase will succeed here. Right now all we can do is look at what happened down in Miami and try to imagine why it would be…

Reports: Jets to promote Jeremy Bates to OC

After firing John Morton as the offensive coordinator the Jets have reportedly convinced quarterbacks coach Jeremy Bates to take the promotion and replace Morton. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to report the news with multiple outlets confirming. The 41-year-old Bates has limited experience as a coordinator, he was the Seattle Seahawks coordinator under Pete…

Jets’ Defensive Line Struggles

Florham Park, NJ – Having a strong defensive line is something that the New York Jets are accustomed to. The New York Sack Exchange, consisting of Mark Gastineau, Joe Klecko, Marty Lyons and Abdul Salaam, are the best group of defensive linemen assembled by the Jets. John Abraham and Shaun Ellis terrorized quarterbacks when the Jets…

Jets Stun Fins 20-6 At Home Opener

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – If there is one word to describe Sunday’s game for the New York Jets, it is unity. Amid a political firestorm surrounding the league, the Jets, preachers of unity and teamwork, put together an inspired performance, stunning the Miami Dolphins, 20-6. Pause the tank! “We corrected a lot of the mistakes from…

Jets looking for chances against Cutler’s Dolphins

Four months ago, he was about to prepare to be a color commentator for FOX. Many had labeled his career as one with immense potential but could never put it together. He was run out of Chicago and traded away from Denver. Now heading into his 11th season in the NFL, Jay Cutler has a…

Jets continue window shopping for QBs

The New York Jets currently only have two quarterbacks on the roster right now, neither of which they want to be their Week One starting quarterback. This, of course, means that they are still looking for a veteran to fill that void, problem is none of the available options are particularly exciting. The differences between…

Jets QB Options: Not Good

FLORHAM PARK, NJ – The Jets are in all out rebuild mode leaving many to question why the Jets would be interested in any big name free agents, clearly the Jets know 2017 won’t a successful season but they still want to avoid having a historically embarrassing season.  The Jets interest in Dont’a Hightower is…

GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the sea GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the season, nothing has gone right for the Jets this year. Losing their starting quarterback to mono has grabbed most of the attention but even when Sam Darnold returns there will still be a glaring problem making his life harder. That problem is this offensive line has been a disaster. On defense the Jets have some issues at cornerback and obviously miss the presence of C.J. Mosley, but the defense has mostly help up. Losing Quincy Enunwa and dealing with Chris Herndon’s suspension (he will be available to return after the Eagles game) has left the backup quarterbacks with Robby Anderson, Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios as the receiving options. But by far the biggest problem has been the play of the offensive line. Read more of Chris Nimbley’s article on www.jetsinsider.com Photo by @manishgosalia #nyjets #newyorkjets
