Time For Changes

Florham Park, NJ – Sunday was a tough day for the Jets as they fell to the Miami Dolphins for their third straight loss. The defense kept the Jets in the game limiting the Dolphins to 168 yards and two field goals. However, the offense endured a world of hurt and rookie quarterback Sam Darnold…

Jets Injuries Are Piling Up, Powell To IR

Florham Park, NJ – In every NFL season, teams are always going to suffer their fair share of injuries. Injuries are probably the number one reason a team’s chance of holding the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season are diminished, but some teams are able to overcome that problem with strong performances from…

Jets Need To Address Inconsistent Play

Florham Park, NJ – The New York Jets have been having their fair share of struggles in their last two games. The number one problem has been consistency. Each game the offense or defense had issues either getting a head start or finishing like a quality-team should. In week two, the defense struggled in the…

Jets Positional Preview: Offensive Line

The Jets offensive line was a weak spot for the Jets last year, and I’m personally still haunted by this play from 2016, which can only be described as “how not to play offensive line”. The Jets offensive line is ranked 31st by Pro Football Focus coming into the 2018 season, and for good reason….

GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the sea GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the season, nothing has gone right for the Jets this year. Losing their starting quarterback to mono has grabbed most of the attention but even when Sam Darnold returns there will still be a glaring problem making his life harder. That problem is this offensive line has been a disaster. On defense the Jets have some issues at cornerback and obviously miss the presence of C.J. Mosley, but the defense has mostly help up. Losing Quincy Enunwa and dealing with Chris Herndon’s suspension (he will be available to return after the Eagles game) has left the backup quarterbacks with Robby Anderson, Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios as the receiving options. But by far the biggest problem has been the play of the offensive line. Read more of Chris Nimbley’s article on www.jetsinsider.com Photo by @manishgosalia #nyjets #newyorkjets
