Three Observations: Practice 10 (2019)

Florham Park, NJ – Today was the day of the switch. The defense got to wear the green jerseys, the offense forced to wear the white. Look good, play good they say and the defense looked so good that they won the day. Leonard Williams was held out of practice with an “irritation in his hip,”…

How to Spend $100 Million Dollars for Sam Darnold

The Jets have a bright future if they play their cards right this offseason. The good thing is, the Jets have about $100 million cards as of right now, and a very high draft pick. I ran a free agency simulator to see just what the Jets can do this offseason. First, then I would…

Week 9 Preview: Jets (3-5) vs Dolphins (4-4)

The Jets travel to Miami for week nine to face their division rival Miami Dolphins for the second time this season following a crucial two game losing streak. In week 8 the Jets offense looked flat and lethargic at times against the Bears, totaling 207 yards against a Khalil Mack-less defense. Now they face a…

The Ups And Downs Of The Jets Defensive Line

Florham Park, NJ – Jet fans, coaches and players are all looking for answers for the poor start this season. Some point to the offensive line, some to the lack of a defensive pass rush and still some point to the young, inexperienced quarterback. Maybe someone should take a look at the defensive line as…

GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the sea GASE HINTS AT CHANGES TO THE OL. At 0-3 on the season, nothing has gone right for the Jets this year. Losing their starting quarterback to mono has grabbed most of the attention but even when Sam Darnold returns there will still be a glaring problem making his life harder. That problem is this offensive line has been a disaster. On defense the Jets have some issues at cornerback and obviously miss the presence of C.J. Mosley, but the defense has mostly help up. Losing Quincy Enunwa and dealing with Chris Herndon’s suspension (he will be available to return after the Eagles game) has left the backup quarterbacks with Robby Anderson, Jamison Crowder and Braxton Berrios as the receiving options. But by far the biggest problem has been the play of the offensive line. Read more of Chris Nimbley’s article on www.jetsinsider.com Photo by @manishgosalia #nyjets #newyorkjets
