FLORHAM PARK, NJ – Newsday’s Kimberly Martin is reporting that the Jets will sign UFA Center Jonotthan Harrison, formerly on the Indianapolis Colts.

The 25 year old Harrison (6’4″-300 Lbs), who was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Florida in 2014, has played in 44 games over the last three season, starting 23 of them.

The Jets, in need of depth at the center position after releasing long time starter Nick Mangold earlier this month, are making  big push this off-season to get younger at all positions. According to Martin, Harrison will compete with Wesley Johnson for the starting position.

UPDATE: March 28, 3PM

The Jets made the Harrison signing official.
