DALLAS: With two picks in the sixth round the Jets addressed both defense and offense by drafting a Defensive Tackle and Running Back.

With their first pick (#180) the Jets grabbed a local product, Foley Fatukasi from UCONN who is from Far Rockaway Long Island and played his high school ball at Beach Channel High School.

Fatukasi, at 6’4″ – 318 Lbs started 48 games for the Huskies where he had 168 tackles.

With the loss of both Mo Wilkerson and Sheldon Richardson, the team is looking desperately for depth at DT and Fatukasi will have ample opportunity to compete.

With their second pick in the 6th (#204) the Jets went offense by selecting Division II RB Trenton Cannon of Virginal State.

Jets RB Trenton Cannon

Cannon, 5’11”-185 Lbs led the CIAA in rushing last season with 1638 yards on 212 attempts with 17 TD’s
