FLORHAM PARK, NY – After two consecutive one possession losses to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers, the New York Jets entered last week’s tilt against the Kansas City Chiefs with no expectaations and their season all but lost.
Trailing 14-0, it seemed like an early defeat for the Jets. But, back came Josh McCown and the offense. Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse each put up over 100+ receiving yards. It was an offensive masterpiece as New York stunned the Chiefs, winning 38-31.
With the playoff dream still alive, the Jets go to the Mile High City in search for their second straight win and sixth on the season. This may be New York’s final chance for a victory with trips to New Orleans and New England sandwiching a home game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
JetsInsider.com Editor-In-Chief Chris Nimbley and Staff Writer Joe Barone break down the game and let you know if the Jets can continue to send the Broncos into a deeper tail spin with a win this week.
The Jets could use:
- A win over Denver.
- A Buffalo Bills loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
- A Kansas City win over the Oakland Raiders.
- A Tennessee Titans loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
- A Chargers loss to the Washington Redskins.
- A Jacksonville Jaguars loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
- A Baltimore Ravens loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- A Miami Dolphins loss to the Patriots.
