DALLAS – The Jets went back to defense in the 5th round by picking Tulane CB Parry Nickerson with the 179th pick in the 5th round.
Nickerson, 5’10” 182 Lbs is fast. His combine 40 time was 4.32 which toed for the fastest.
During his career at Tulane, Nickerson started 46 of 48 possible games with 16 interceptions and 31 pass break ups. Jets hope he will add depth to the secondary and with his speed will also be a contributor on special teams.
