FLORHAM PARK, NJ – As the Jets open their spring OTA’s today the NY media got their first taste of new QB Josh McCown who will step into the veteran role that Ryan Fitzpatrick had last season.
The only difference is that McCown will be fighting for a starting spot against youngsters Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg.
McCown, who is even more of a journeyman than Fitzpatrick will call the Jets his tenth NFL team in 16 seasons. He spoke to the NY media for the first time today and chatted with us about getting acclimated with his new team.
