EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The Jets surprised everyone last week with a convincing drubbing of their hated AFC rival Dolphins and what once looked like a hopeless season, now looks a little brighter. Those who are hoping for a season tank so the team can draft a franchise QB are deterred, but diehard fans are encouraged by the Jets’ youth making strides.
This week, the Jets have their second home game of the season and face an ascending Jaguars team who were in a similar spot the Jets were a few years ago but now have post-season expectations.
JetsInsider.com Editor In Chief Chris Nimbley and Staff Writer Joe Barone do their weekly breakdown of Sunday’s game and predict whether the win last week was a fluke or if the team can actually compete against a much improved Jaguars team.
